I have always had an eye for composition and beauty. I bring my background and schooling in photography to my web sites and design work. My work tends to attract the creative type, such as artists and photographers, but it also attracts realtors, small business owners, guide services and consultants who want something more than cookie-cutter web site.
Prior to starting Visual Adventures, experience working with big companies like Disney, Mack Trucks, and i2 helped to refine my skills and to be detail oriented. Working with other designers gave me new ideas and new ways of doing things. Visual Adventures came about as a love for design. As working for other companies came and went, I continued doing what I loved.
This summer my lovely wife, Lisa, decided to give up her "cooking" business to come and work with me. Although she brings a varied background to Visual Adventures, I would say that marketing is her strength. She spent the past 8 years developing and growing a successful catering/personal chef business. Prior to that she spent 10 years with major telecommunications company working in both engineering and marketing.
Lisa adds a fresh perspective to my work and it's great to have someone to collaborate with.
Please feel free to contact any of my clients under my portfolio. I'm proud to say they all love my work!! Most of the work I do now comes from referrals or people who have seen my work and have loved it so much that they contact me directly.
Check out the "web site design process " page to understand the process of building a web site and other FAQ's. You can expect to spend a bit of time talking with me, as I feel communication is key in creating an online extension of your business.
"I just saw the poster you've created for the upcoming school meeting.
WOW! As I told my friend, I'm going to want one for myself so I can frame it and hang it in my home. Perhaps you'll be interested in offering a graphic design course for students in the future?"
